Internationally, DLA Piper participates in projects at each stage of the production process, from upstream exploration, extraction and production; midstream transportation, pipelines, storage and trading; to the development, refurbishment and operation of refineries and other facilities for processing and storing petrochemicals. Examples of DLA Piper's Australian projects are: • Advising Woodside on development of Browse Basin project, including terminal development, native title, environment and other issues. • Principal legal advisers to the Queensland Govt about various issues and third party access (under both Part IIIA TPA and National Gas Law) affecting the AUD$40B Curtis Island LNG. • Acting for the sponsors led by Woodside for the EPCM procurement methodology for LNG trains 4 and 5. Drafting EPCM Contract and advising on the flowdown EPCM strategies. • Advising Rio Tinto's Pacific Oil and Gas unit on exploration issues relating to the Bunya CBM Project.
